Inner Family-Inner Court builds on and expands the work of Paul Dennison, Ned Herrmann, Katherine Benziger and Bertrand Babinet's Babinetics. We can now put all these together in the safe context of ecumenical spirituality, with "God as my Partner."
From Paul we have muscle testing proven as a reliable experimental method--in the domain on one single individual at a time. From Ned and Katherine we have four head quadrants. Bertrand experimented to understand how a similar quadrant architecture existed in or gut brain as well. He was the first to explore quadrants with self-muscle-testing.
Each quadrant connects with an archetype: Inner Mother, Inner Father, Inner Child and Inner Wise-accepting Grandparent. Each archetype stores learned behaviors, values, talents and responses to 3D life. Our four memory archetypes play back recorded habits, to the best of their ability, as appropriate according to their maturity. Which habits you choose to express, when and how--is your uniqueness.
The intelligence of our Habit Body is here. Your Habit Body, An Owner’s Manual, is useful preparation for the current volume.
Bertrand uncovered two body-based maps for locating disturbed reactivity, our biggest obstacle to personal-spiritual growth. The origin of everyday disturbances can be experimentally determined and tracked--one person at a time. If you can feel it―and locate it--you can heal it.
Using self-testing, it's possible to see where our habits and comfort zones are running us; and where needed, to initiate changes. Functional~dysfunctional expressions of each archetype are described for navigation purposes.
As adults, our gut brain is shown to have four etheric quadrants, only loosely reflective of some organs and functions. The "anatomy" of four archetypal divisions of our etheric body in our gut and head brains appears to be stable, across all genders and races, and for our entire lives.
This partial anatomy of our etheric body, begun by Bertrand, has been tested and practiced by the author since 1987 and with clients since 2001.
Q: Is each quadrant also a memory quadrant?
A: Yes. A four-fold system of stored, learned behaviors and responses, modified by over- and undercharge, turns out to be just complex enuf to serve as the basis for seven billion unique variations. Connections with MBTI and other personality typologies are drawn in later chapters.
The intelligence of our Naive Scientist (Habit Body, child within) is a three-year-old compared to the intelligence of Waking Self. Conscious Self has the job of monitoring, editing and upgrading habits and how we express them.
The four archetypal characters of Camelot, Guinevere, Lancelot, Merlin & King Arthur can be used alternatively to the Inner Family. The four figures of Arthurian legend have long-served as lenses for insight into our own subconscious role playing and life scripts.
With self-muscle-testing those who wish to, can experimentally navigate them to access the Habit Body, learn what is working and not working in the 95% of your psyche which is habits. Many patterns of behavior and our comfort zones become visible for viewing, editing, managing and upgrading.
Q: Are internal quadrant systems visible in our physical anatomy?
A: No, nor on any dissecting table. Quadrants are only stable and testable in our etheric body. Our immune system seems to navigate in part by these quadrants.
With muscle testing of any kind, everyday disturbances can be tracked back to their quadrant of origin, a tremendous advance of Holistic Psychology 2.0.
Inner Family-Court model is appropriate to grad students and ANYONE interested in counseling, coaching, training, sales and personal growth.
