Mary Horn’s dreams of leaving Pennysworth County and its magical borders come true one day when she is stolen away from home to work beneath the streets of Olde London in a dungeon filled with hideous monsters. Mary must win her freedom from her new master and remove the curse before she too devolves into a beast. Mary must learn to fight and fight well in an environment that doesn’t tolerate weakness. Can her family save her in time, or will they be swept up in the consuming war?
