The Idyllic Cottage

A short ghost story set in a fictitious village in England about a young guy who can't believe his good luck when he finds himself a really cheap cottage to rent in an idyllic village, but he discovers within hours of moving in that there is a constant, disturbing undertone to the absolute quiet of his countryside surroundings, and it doesn't take long for his easy-going life to become unravelled.
