‘Not so long ago’, live theater dominated the entertainment world, and clever thinking with quick action cracked the most difficult to solve crimes.
In The Great Theatre Sting of 1895, ‘not so long ago’ entertainment and crime solving return together, with a very unusual twist:
1890’s boom town, Clearwater, Wisconsin, eagerly anticipates a repeat performance of a very popular play, Buddy, starring the same famous East Coast acting troupe that performed the play in the town’s then new theater ten years prior. Unknown not only to the citizens of Clear Water, but to most of the troupe as well, the play turns out to be an amazing sting operation set up to solve a murder committed during the troupe’s earlier visit.
The plot unfolds to not only bring the murderer back to Clear Water, but to also trick the killer into an incredible, on stage confession of guilt!
