Upon Reflection

A wizard on his deathbed. The beautiful, ageless elf he has always loved. The memories of his long and full life.

When looking back at the life he has lived and the path he had chosen, one man must decide if it had been worth it. When faced with the same question, how would you answer?

This VERY short story was written as a submission for a writing contest on Fantasy Faction, and had to be about Romance, include one laugh, and fit in 500 words or less.
