Jack Martin is a dreamer. Unsuccessful in his quest to become a lawyer, forced to work at a boring job, he daydreams of being a comic-book hero, admired by all. In dreams he can stop runaway trains, lift ships clear of danger, and perform impossible rescues with ease.
