Rescued In Time

In Adventures in Time book #2, the Professor sets the time machine controls. But, it’s anybody’s guess where they'll end up. Reece and Sean wear hideous tunics and wigs again as they wander into a market stand followed by their dog, Bear. Twelve year old Dillon orders them to leave then begs them to stay as two menacing men approach on horseback. After the terrifying thugs leave, Dillon pleads with Reece and Sean to drive a wagon piled high with apples to a place called Franklin. Reece and Sean haven’t a clue how to drive a horse drawn wagon, so Dillon gives them a five-minute tutorial and, with grave reservations, the two children and Bear are off. Soon, they realize that people are hidden inside the wagon and, for the rest of the day, Reece and Sean, with Bear’s help, stay one step ahead of the two men on horseback trying to catch them. As the men close in, Reece meets Samantha, a girl her own age, and it’s Sammy who rescues them in time. But, will the Professor’s mini robot, ANNA, be able to return Reece, Sean, and Bear to their own time and home again?
