Monica is the 13-year-old daughter of Patrick and Shannon Ramsey, and is an only child. After asking for permission to have friends stay overnight many times her parents thought Monica wants a sister, and decide to surprise her with news that they have arranged to foster Cindy, a 10-year-old with behavioural problems.
Cindy is everything that Monica is not. After weeks of sneaking out of the house at night leaving Monica to worry about her wellbeing, Cindy joins a gang after proving her worth by stealing and Monica reluctantly agrees to go with her only to discover that the so-called ‘bit of fun’ is anything but.
A free ride in a police car brings ‘Just a Bit of Fun’ to the exciting climax.
