Silverton Colorado, final destination of one of the most famous narrow-gauge steam trains in the world—any kid would be thrilled to take a ride, especially if it meant getting out of school, right? Well, not Kade Crawford, a “poor little rich girl,” yanked from her 8th grade class in Illinois, right before the big dance and graduation. Without much explanation, Kade is forced to take an instant vacation with her brother and a father she hardly knows.
