My name is Elcy Paz, but that is no longer the case. The person formerly known as Elcy Paz is now a woman named “Don't Mess With Me”, “Don't” for short. My journey to becoming this personality named "Don't" is plain and simple. I was tired of all the nonsense that was going on. I grew up in a town named Marango in the southern region, where gender inequality and corruption is the norm of the south. Girls and women did not have a voice and would be prosecuted for even dropping a needle. I grew up with an abusive father, which I will refer to as the so-called "male guardian", he was the blacksmith of the community and a part-time cowboy brawler to earn extra cash. He was good at his first job but he was very below average at his second job. His poor performances (and there were many) at his second job would often earn my mother and I some uncalled for aggression. I, as a little girl, took some of the abuse from him, but it wasn't until I was thrown down the stairs, that things changed. From that day forward, I was determined to make my beating days numbered. And when my days as a beaten person were over, my journey began. You can follow my journey as I go from town to town, dealing with high levels of ignorance and arrogance, and leave those societies with unwanted memories. You probably might not like me at the end, but I always intended for this to be about me and only me and you will find out why.
