“Kissed by Death: The Update” is based on the authors own thirteen years story with the illness. It addresses causes, symptoms, diagnosis and medications. It talks about simple aerobic and resistance weight training exercises to strengthen the body. It focuses on a low sodium diet, how to read food and ingredient labels, and build a sodium database. The second half of the book deals with the Mediterranean diet and profiles the author’s own low-sodium, good-carb, Mediterranean Style Eating and cooking methods.
