Skin Deep

They say that beauty is skin deep but when all you have is your skin then beauty is all you have, it is everything you own, struggling to house an incipient soul, an intrusive evil that has no place in flesh. Carl and his daughter find a box of dolls at a car-boot sale and are later faced with beautiful creations that fight for his acceptance, for his love and lust. Creations that are driven by the power of sacrifice, power born into fabricated semblances of the female form. Struggling for conscience, they compete for his affections and in turn reveal a connection to him and his daughter that reaches into a troubled past and the death of a lost love. Carl soon realizes that his past and his daughter are at the heart of these creations. He must find the architect of these forms to save himself, his daughter...and much more than he thought possible.
