Maid of the Silver Mist

Maid of the Silver Mist is Katerina's jousting name. Her family has been riding at the rings for generations. Kat's hesitant, however, about moving from the security of "Lead-line" into Novice-class competition, but when Leslie invites Gayle to enter the joust, Kat feels pressured. Her spirited horse, Thunder, presents challenges. Kat and Gayle's fierce rivalry nearly ends their friendship.
