Kaitlin Caitlin Adderlink is the Royal Duchess of Spine. Aramis Rouge is an old friend from college and Crown Prince of the star system Blair. He is in danger. KC must find him.

She warns him of a credible threat; she takes him to safety; she defends him against intruders, but the next day she wakes up with a bump on her head and a missing Prince. Is he a hostage? Is he still alive? Is he mixed up in something he can't handle?
It had something to do with his skanky new girlfriend. Who the heck was Janice anyway? Aramis had never mentioned her; no one had ever seen her.

It didn't matter. The Prince was getting rescued even if he didn't want rescuing. The first step: reunite the old crew.
