Short Stories From A Small Town

The author has written three short stories based on real people living in the town in which he grew up. “Ethel” is a story about one woman in the fifties in the author’s hometown who broke out of the mold of many women of the time who often wasted away waiting for their man to return each day from work.
“Red Light” is based on a real life activity of several young males on summer vacation that had nothing better to do than watch adults go and come from a house of prostitution.
“Journey” is based on the author’s actual chronology of his own father’s journey from a life of independence to the twists and turns of skilled nursing care.
