The Wish-Giver's Hut

Sylfor Kint is a dreadful poet.

Perhaps that wouldn't matter so much if she didn't live in Eastland, where poetry is the thing that makes the world go round. Shunned by her family for her lack of verse, Sylfor finds solace in exploring the ground, a forbidden adventure among the treefolk.

But one day Sylfor's adventure turns sour when she breaks into the Wish-Giver's abandoned hut with her companion, the silver eagle Pallin Ode. When Pallin is ensnared and strung from Oski's chandelier, Sylfor can offer no help, for as with most troubles in Eastland, this one requires the aid of poetry. The arrival of Hunter Mont complicates matters. Can Sylfor confront her bully and save Pallin, or will shame and loneliness stand in her way?
