Escape of the Abused Wife

An abused and frightened young wife dreams of escape from her sadistic husband. While working as an aide for ill and elderly patients, Dee Ann discovers a way out. Her escape plan becomes complicated when a man falls in love with the abused woman and when her husband almost kills her. This is a romantic story with several characters and many twists in the plot.
The make-up she tried so carefully to apply just would not hide the black eye from last night. It was starting to turn that dark purple color that fresh bruises turn, and the slight swelling made the left side of her face slightly out of balance with the rest of her delicate feminine features. Staring into the eyes of the lost soul in the reflection looking back at her, the hopelessness of her situation tightened the aching that pounded her brain, as she mentally and emotionally ran through her limited options.
She could stay with him and be used as a punching bag, humiliated and trapped, or run with no-where to go, taking nothing and no one to go to.
