A Company of Odd Folk

In a faraway land, evil gathers like a dark cloud over a quaint hamlet. The giants of Rognoth are on a mission to plunder the dwarves and take them captive.
Dilby Dobbins, Dan Quin and the Slenderplump triplets escape capture and set out on a quest to rescue their kinfolk, albeit at the risk of losing their own lives. The sages of Eldoren come to their aid and an unlikely meeting occurs with the scouts of Shalombern. Naron the manator, convinces Dilby to first seek help from the great king of the North but their journey there is fraught with insurmountable challenges that await them at every turn. Dilby unwittingly exposes his vulnerabilities and finds his wit and strength are greatly tested. He ultimately realises that staying true to himself depends on the measure of his own convictions and his ability to withstand the influences of those around him.
Meanwhile Prince Isembart’s search for Naron takes him on an eastward journey where he learns of the theft of his father’s sword. He musters the allies of the king and goes against the Murkheen, a brutal race who are wreaking havoc in the once peaceful lands of the sons of men. The allegiance of the twelve kingdoms now hangs on a thread…
