Oh Gemma. Don't you wish you could tell the difference between a new friend and an evil, manipulative, glittery, blonde monster? That's right. MONSTER! At only 12 years of age, It's quite plausible that Ashley Penelope Monroe could indeed have the DNA of Jaws and the Blair Witch coursing through her cold-blooded, sparkly veins.
Or what about that idiotic, rubberband flicking moron Ribbie Tucker, who makes Jacob's life at school a painful, humiliating living hell? How desperately he wants him to disappear. The more gruesome the circumstances the better. Being abducted by idiot-eating aliens is his number one preference. How can two 12 year old children be so hideously mean and nasty and get away with it?
If only someone could do something about it. If only Gemma wasn't so trusting and naiive and Jacob wasn't so terrified of even looking in Ribbie's direction let alone confronting him.
If only there was a way to sort these brats out without stooping to their low, glittery level or getting beaten to a pulp in the process.
If only...
