In this firsthand account of a psychedelic journey into Vancouver’s drug-filled underground of the 1990s, you will peer into the mind and soul of Frederick T. Dubois, as well as the multiverse. A naïve 21-year old drug virgin, Dubois is playfully introduced to the world of DJing and drugs by a beautiful woman, but quickly enters the darker realms of dealing, smuggling, and addiction. While experimenting with marijuana, psilocybin, Ecstasy, LSD, cocaine, methamphetamine, DMT, ketamine, PCP and peyote, he becomes "DJ Fried" and performs in warehouse 'raves', at outdoor musical festivals, and in nightclubs of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Through psychedelics he also experiences telepathy, synchronicity, and has past-life visions while a whirlwind of external forces combine with internal moral dilemmas, some brought about by intimately erotic scenarios. His budding spiritual attempts to transcend the ego’s desires directly conflict with his mounting fame and corresponding drama games with DJs and promoters, an illegal drug chemist and other dealers. Follow Freddie as he knowingly allows himself to become entwined in a deadly game he can neither control nor escape - or can he?
