Dan Carver used to be the CEO of Advanced CyberSystems. That was before the Corvant visited Earth, sharing their technology and working their way into our culture and way of life. When Dan begins digging around into the motivation of the aliens, he finds himself reassigned: to a new job and a new gender. From now on he'll be working as a pleasure girl in the Flesh Zones, doing anything for anyone willing to pay.
