Fog, A Short Story involves very few weather phenomena and is in fact a short story about a vet - not army, military vets, you know, people who have fought other people, this is about people who work with animals. Or rather people who shouldn't work with animals and should find a new career.
Maybe as a butcher.
Or something even less delicate.
