Supernatural abilities have always been within us all. It's added to our subconsciousness during our pre-birth, life-creating process by ourselves in order to live yet another life. Only a few of us create an allowance to recognize those abilities, and fewer still are able to add what's needed to tap into our hidden resources.
The supernatural abilities that belonged to Amanda in a long forgotten life as a deity were normal to Amanda when she was a child. She used them from birth, but during her early years, she lost her connection with them and forgot about them as she meandered in her life of confusion and struggle.
One of her supernatural abilities, fueled by her wish for a better life, burst through her mentally confining membrane and bridged a far place with her present one. That ability managed to kick her out of her gloomy life and into an alien place that she felt a need to get back from, a place only a time-space bridging wormhole could take her. We meet her nine weeks into her struggles to get back home.
Only her stubbornness, temper, intelligence, and propensity to adapt allowed her to survive the torrent of dangers and mental expansion to later let her descend in what would prove to be a better life.
Changed values due to mind-boggling experiences and newfound abilities grow on her until she eventually accepts her fate, heritage, and the culmination of her own life-creating process.
The story has tidbits of science-fiction but builds mostly on supernatural abilities. It dips into philosophy, expands the "Law of Attraction," examines possibilities of our mind, and challenges what we think we are. It is written to nourish thoughts about our origin and stir questions about everyday life-discoveries that we face from time to time. It explores alien settings and life forms, but it comes with a twitch; Do you think this is not in your consciousness?
