Plant Families in Pictures

The photographs illustrating the “Plant Families in Pictures” were taken by Claude Trudel at the Montréal Botanical Garden. The many plants of the Montréal Botanical Garden come from all continents. They are grouped in thirty thematic gardens, the ten exhibition greenhouses and the vast arboretum. In this book, plant families are listed in alphabetical order (botanical name), with a plant example (common name, botanical name ‘cultivar name’, origin, photo). The botanical names are in italic. - Claude Trudel is an amateur of nature and photography. The photographs illustrating the “Plant Families in Pictures” have a dimension of only 320 x 180 pixels. They are taken from the album “Flore du Jardin botanique de Montréal”. The hundreds of photos in this album have a 2048 x 1152 pixels size.
