Date Night

"Date Night" by Alexander Pate is a collection of two short stories written in two different genres dealing with the same circumstance: the dreaded first date. The first story deals with a man who feels that he's being stood up, and his inner thoughts while he inwardly panics. The second is about a man who has gotten his date to come over for a drink and as he cooks, he fights with his hunger and her over-interest in getting him to bed.
