Stranger in Her Bed

Young wife and mother Beatrice was pulled into munitions factory work to aid the war effort during WWII, while her husband Stanley had been conscripted into the Army and was fighting in North Africa. Although she worked long hours, Beatrice felt liberated from her usual mundane existence. Life in London was hard during the Blitz, but reluctantly Beatrice found solace in the arms of Joe, a young, handsome American GI she met at a welcome dance. The two fell in love and made plans for a future together after the war. Unfortunately, Joe died on a beach in France, leaving Beatrice alone and pregnant with his child. Years later her husband returned home. After so long apart Stanley was a stranger. How would he react to the cuckoo in his nest, and more importantly could Beatrice accept him back into her bed.
