The Road to Nirvana

"When I was newly awakened, my grandfather kept encouraging me to walk toward the sun whenever I shut my eyes to meditate. He suggested that I open my center as wide and as much as I could, when I was ready. Back then, I didn’t understand deeply what he meant, because I thought that I had opened it when I woke up. Enlightenment was not the end, but a beginning."

When one door closes another door opens. Oday La Kingsavanh's process of awakening, described in her prior book All and Nothing, proved the start of a process that was to continue through numerous meditations, self-examination, and transformative experiences. The roots and beginnings of her journey continue in The Road to Nirvana, which captures the experiences of meditative states, their imagery and meaning, and most of all, the road to Self that is independent of conditions, desires, perceptions, and attachments.
