"A Year in the Life of Emilie Jones" is fictional work. Emilie Jones passed away in June, 2005, months before her 85th birthday. Shortly after, her great-niece found a diary in a hidden compartment of a drawer. In it, Emilie wrote what happened every day in 1956. Much to everyone's surprise, it turned out to be a very eventful year!
