A new student's arrival puts Ethan and the others on their guard, but Ethan is more focused on Yuletide cheer than talk about angry gods.

After a harrowing trip across the void, Ethan finds himself at home, but things aren't all trees and cookies. Cronus again rears his head, and Ethan and his friends must deal with the threat to Land's End on their own. And their suspicion about the new student only makes things worse.
