Princess Lii Wena was a typical Princess. Preferring to learn swordsmanship over sewing and dreading the day that her father would use her as a bargaining chip. One would think that the only thing she had to worry about was which crotchety old Baron she'd wind up a wife to. That all changed when Toxin of the Meka struck.

Machines from the ancient day, powered by an unknown force, ravaged the land and took the expected future from the young girl. Now forced to flee and traveling with a farmer, a thief, and a knight, Princess Wena must somehow find a way to restore order to the land of Melidia and rid them of the Mekans once and for all. Will she able to succeed or will she succumb to the power of the machines?
