Cierni Vtaci

Collection of poetry written by Ivan Kmeťo in years 2012 - 2015. Major part of poems in this book are originals, edited by author himself in Slovak language.

"It was an adventure to collect all those poems again because usually I used to write everything on pieces of paper or to small notebooks which I had at that time in pockets of my coats. When inspiration hit me I wrote it down no matter where I was - in bus, bar, school, on street at night or at home. After years I had no clue where everything that I wrote is. I had to get through piles of papers to find something but sadly, I think that major part of my poetry from those years is just gone. I wrote big part of poetry in Slovak language but some pieces were written in English language only. It was for most of the time dark and sad part of my life but also very creative in some way and I am more than happy that I could get some pieces of myself from those years and put them together for this book."
