Visiting the Girl

This memoir is Aoife's presence rendered in print. Recounted in a unique narrative style, the author 'visits' the girl she once was, taking us deep, to a cellular level, into the suffering of a child abused and neglected; all the while holding the reader's hand and whispering that there is hope, even amidst the darkest moments and the chaos of war.
