The Lost Safari

10 year old boy, Michael, and his little sister, Kim go on a vacation to Africa. His father is a movie director and his studio assigned him to direct a picture to be filmed on the Congo River in Africa. Michael’s mother is a paleontology professor. Once there in Africa, She takes a helicopter to Paoli, Africa, to meet Professor Steinhouser, an archeologist. Steinhouser is excavating tombs and is close to making a big discovery and has asked the mother to assist him. That was the plan. While flying over jungle the helicopter crashes. They find themselves lost in an uncharted jungle and imprisoned by hostile natives, and wild animals, lions, and giant elephants.
