Subversive

A fugitive from his home dimension, Gerard--code name: Regulus--is a spy without a purpose. Though he'd been retired for many years, now that his student Caprice has reintroduced him to the world he, in part, helped to create, he's seeking diversions to amuse himself. After taking his pleasure from a lovely lady at a social gathering, a chance encounter with a young, brash heroine set into motion a plan which could enable him to dominate the city in which he lives... or lead to his ultimate demise.
