The Palm

Long has he obsessed over the perfection of his backyard, long has he obsessed over every minutiae of his backyard, long has he spent long evenings on the planning of creating the perfect backyard that he thinks rivals all other backyards... until he bought the palm trees, and then something mysterious began to happen, something that soon scared him until he could not take it any more. Something that lived in his backyard haunted his every waking moment, trapping him in his own home, and leaving him no choice but to try to fight back. But it proved stronger than he reckoned on.
