The Unfinished Night: Red & Blue

This is a scene from my upcoming book, The Last Night: Red & Blue.

The idea behind the book is to allow the reader insert themselves into the story as either character. Due to this, they lack proper names and are colors instead.
I have released it as a stand-alone to gauge the reaction of the potential readers and help me steer the rest of the book in the right direction.
