The Glowing Lines

On a dark night, long after he lays asleep, he woke, and sees a line in the dark, on the ceiling, and in the line he sees something unwholesome about the colour, the atmosphere, of the line... night after night he sees the line, and his sleep grew less, and he sees the lines growing longer, filling in the cracks of the ceiling, and in time, something about the lines drove him mad.
