Pink Horses.: New American Western

A ragged cowboy dances and drinks with a pretty girl, but when he's ready to leave she tells him why he shouldn't. The story she tells reveals her desire to be with someone based on an imposed fear she has after she was once kidnapped by some Indians. The cowboy doesn't believe her, except that what she tells him makes him think twice about his own destiny.

"Pink Horses." is story-telling on a new level as it relates to Westerns.

It highlights the balance of fate and relationships between a man and woman, and asks the age old question of "Who needs to be rescued?" in a new perspective: The story should make you think: "Who's really being rescued?" Traditionally in Western's it's the woman, but with New American Western the woman is often the one who turns the tables and recues the man (in sometimes subtle ways) so that he's rescued from himself.
