The Lingering Evacuation and Other Flash Pieces

THE LINGERING EVACUATION is a flash fiction piece about an elderly couple who has to evacuate from their home and has trouble letting go. Other stories featured include DENT, the story of a mother trying to keep the peace between her husband and son in her household, and THE BIG FIND, a classic tale of work getting in the way of marriage. All of these flash pieces are among author Christopher Ferri's earliest work and were written while he attended Full Sail University.
