Since You've Been Gone

It has been almost four years since my mother died. The emotional tangle that I have found myself wrapped up in has changed me in profound ways. Those first few months were numb yet raw at the same time and I found myself writing as a way to cope with the overwhelming feelings that seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere. I started blogging these poetic reflections as a way to reach out and share a bit of myself with those that I love. Now I want to share some of that with you. My writings are purposefully generic and simple so that the reader might find it easy to relate them to their own feelings and experiences. Thank you for entering my world for a time.
