Bondi Detective is a crime detective series set in Bondi Beach, in Sydney, Australia. It is the story of Detective Chief Inspector Joe Charnock. He is a widowed, 50-something who investigates grisly murders in the most cosmopolitan suburb of Sydney. He is uncompromising, tough, and still grieving the tragic loss of his wife Lucy in a cliff fall 10 years earlier. Her death haunts him. Part One.
