Civilisation's End

A short lecture by an extraterrestrial intelligence explaining why they cannot permit mankind to leave their planet Earth. Because of all the myriad of mankind's problems, there is every reason for mankind to be denied entry into the galaxy's membership of civilisations, thus Earth's mankind are doomed to be imprisoned forever. There is no way around it, the entire solar system is effectively a prison, and mankind can only look up in wonder and knows they'll never fly up into outer space. All because a corrupted few prevented mankind from achieving true peace, true freedom, with their greed. When Mankind learns to prevent greed, and allows freedom and peace and plenty for all, then they are permitted to leave, but mankind's greed prevents this and so mankind is trapped forever. In the words of Chrrrrk Krrrryk Chrrrkrk., too much emotions can kill in a confined space in the far ends of space. There is no choice, mankind cannot be allowed to roam freely. Quarantined for all time.
