Jae McCoy, artistic and secretive, moves into a dilapidated cottage in desperate need of renovation. With the help of her ex-partner, she hopes to renovate more than just the house.
The arrival of the emotionally depressive rock star, Adrian Fox, Jae’s emotions are thrown into disarray. Subsequently, she binds herself within a ring of protection to ward off his obvious attraction.
On the advice of Cleve, Adrian, physically and mentally scared by a traumatic event in which his wife and son die, emerges from his reclusive life to help Jae rebuild her home - and subsequently his own life.
