Christoper and Makayla got married on the rebound to share their mutual sexuality. As soon as Chris bought a condo and Mickey moved in, she got the writing assignment of a lifetime, out of town and away from her new husband. Their physical dependence would have been tested by her absence, except Chris decided to drive up and take a room nearby the college where Mickey went undercover to identify and document rampant racial bigotry for her news organization. Too bad Mickey wasn't available, but the busty waitress at the nearby diner was.
