Whilst discussing the recently opened Indian train line, Philomena Fogg suggests it’s now possible to travel around the globe in under eighty days, a feat never before achieved. Challenged by her companions to prove it, Ms Fogg wagers her entire fortune on the outcome.
Wasting no time, she sets out with her new servant, Jeanne Passepartout. Together, they encounter all manner of adventures and obstacles.
