YATES FILES by Samantha Yates contains 4 short stories. The author wrote these with the intention to inspire and entertain her readers.

The first story, The Fire Within, is a fictional story based on real life events. It tells of a life changing event that happens to a young girl visiting her grandmother out of state. She never saw it coming, but what will she do now?

The second story, Pontiac, is told from the point of view of a boy who is fascinated with his neighbors Pontiac. He maintains the car and helps the owner in every way he could, but the owner still will not let him drive the vehicle. One night, he can't take it anymore. He takes the Pontiac for a private midnight drive.

The third story, Mustang, is a spin off from the previous story. Same concept, different story. This story is about a boy who is graduating High School. His parents have finally agreed to help him buy a car. This is the story about his search and how he falls in love with his first car.

The fourth and last of the collection is called First Adventure. The story is started with an amateur adventurer who is finally going on his first quest. What he finds, though, is what the story is about.
