The first major Mars colony has thrived over the past ten years while things on Earth have taken a strange turn. The Swapper pill has become ubiquitous creating societal ramifications that override supply missions to the colony. Instead of sending the first wave of settlers to begin permanent habitation, Earth decides to share its new gift with the colony, solving the colony's male to female ratio at the same time.
