It’s so wrong, but I don’t know what else to do.

Jake is my boyfriend. We’re both in college. I like Jake a lot. The problem is that Jake’s father, Frank, doesn’t like me very much. The feeling’s mutual.

He’s everything that Jake isn’t: huge and imposing and rough. A real alpha male, man of the house type.

And he doesn’t think I’m good enough for his son.

So I confront him. Tell him I’ll do anything to prove I’m good enough for him and for Jake.

Anything.
