Vancouver’s mayor is brutally slain in Stanley Park. His family is missing, no clues. So begins Carol’s first big detective case. Toss in a hot male reporter. Vengeful bikers, a sexually starved succubus, a boatload of out of sync demi-gods and a disappearing shaman who holds all the clues. Oh, it’s going to be a fun night in the park.
Damn Frank -- this writing is as tactile as a 1955 T-Bird. Very nice descriptions, good dialogue, a thinking man's book but one that can be read entirely for pleasure. Good work.

Paranormal fantasy, mystery thriller rolled into one. Vancouver's Spirits is a well-crafted story that builds suspense through flowing narrative, life-like characters, and believable dialogue. If you're a fan of any of the above mentioned genres, or if you're just looking for a page turner to get lost in, Vancouver's Spirits will not disappoint.
Cris Pasqueralle
A gritty book flavored with primitive urges and mysticism. As I followed Carol's foray into the realm of shamanism, I realized that it took a special touch to pull off a complicated plot the way you did. Your prose was concise, powerfully descriptive, the dialogue lively, and your photographic mastery of the fixtures and streets in Vancouver's hub, in clear evidence.
