If you want your child to sense people’s kindness, immerse itself in a beautiful world where contemporary reality is intertwined with a fantasy land, and thus expand your child’s imagination, then this book is for you and your children. It is an unusual fairy tale for children aged 6 - 12 about how a boy living in London got his name. It is set in today’s Blackheath - a unique village-type district of London, close to the Greenwich Observatory. In the story, Dominic's parents could not agree on choosing a name for him. The mother went for advice to an old man, who happened to be a Wizard. The Wizard is helped by a number of creatures: a mouse, a bee, 12 gnomes, Mr Wind and 4 Fairies for each season of the year. The letters of the boy’s name start appearing progressively on a black sheet of paper in a colourful and imaginative way as each of the creatures gives its helping hand. The story ends with the boy’s name being approved by the queen at a ceremony at the Buckingham Palace.
